   As long as people keep ignoring that "open source" is meaningless (and has been for 10+ years) and that the real distinction is between "community-driven development" and "company-driven development", and as long as they keep entrusting their data and workflows to company-driven "open source" software, this kind of bait and switch will happen again. And again.

   Yesterday it was Elasticsearch. Today it's Redis. Tomorrow, what will it be? And more importantly, when will people learn?
